These days, the displays for browsing are going in two distinct trends: Monitors getting smaller and smaller (e.g. mobile phones), and monitors getting bigger and bigger (e.g. high resolution monitors, 24" widescreens). However, web browsers for the desktop are still designed for 800x600. With content not going to change in width due to the ergonomic limitation of words to be displayed per line, how are we going to use the space efficiently?

Desktops, unlike mobile devices, are made for multi-tasking, due to their large displays and powerful processors. Mozilla Firefox, now entering the 2010s, should embrace such power and make multi-tasking efficient and intuitive for the desktop. The solution here is called "Browspace".
